We just love video game music and wanted to share it in a fun, live format. Our members have backgrounds in jazz, funk, classical, and electronic music, and we all grew up around video games and their amazing soundtracks. The Funky Kongs started as a passion project in 2025 and quickly grew into a full band with a mission to bring joy and nostalgia to audiences everywhere. When it comes to playing jazz versions of iconic game tunes, we’re all about having fun, connecting with fans, and keeping the groove alive.
